Required to sell anti-freeze products within the Commonwealth. Products must meet state testing standards under M.G.L. c. 94 §§ 303G–303L.
Required to act as an auctioneer anywhere in the Commonwealth. The Division regulates all auctions held in Massachusetts.
All motor vehicle glass repair shops must register under M.G.L. c. 100A. The Division inspects shops and reviews complaints of improper repairs.
All motor vehicle damage repair (body) shops must register under M.G.L. c. 100A. Includes posted-price and estimate requirements.
Required to sell goods on foot or from a vehicle (including food trucks, ice-cream trucks, door-to-door sales).
Fee-waived Hawker Peddler license for qualifying vision-impaired residents and certain veterans.
Required to sell motor fuel or automotive lubricating oil. Covers branded and unbranded retailers; includes dispenser grade and price-display compliance.
Required for anyone who organizes an event and rents, leases, or grants space to goods vendors. Fee is based on class (A–F) by event size.
Allows a retail food store to sell groceries without affixing a price label to every item (in exchange, strict price-accuracy and shelf-tag rules apply).
Required for anyone selling goods from a single fixed location for less than one year (pop-up retail, seasonal stands).
